Box Tops for Education/Labels for Education
We continue to save the box tops logo to send to Cookson Hills Christian Children's Home to help purchase school supplies for the children. We have recently added "Labels for Education" backed by Campbell's Soup. We are collecting UPC labels from their products for Sun Belt Youth Ranch. Collection containers are in the WC kitchen and product lists are in the Welcome Center lobby.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY FACEBOOK PAGE
We're beginning a Facebook page to keep our women updated on current happenings for Westview women. Be watching for further details in the Sunday bulletin and this website.
We are enjoying our new prayer partners. We're already praying and encouraging our prayer partners. You could give her no better gift than fervent prayers for her needs, cares, and praises. Be creative as a friend to your partner--send her texts, greeting cards, FB messages, phone calls, etc. Remember her on her birthday and anniversary dates. Have fun with your encouragement. "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous woman has much power." James 5:16
Our own John Maeder is needing a heart pump. If you would like to give to this fund, please make your check payable to Westview and memo it to the Maeder Fund. We also are collecting "spare change" at the Welcome Center for the "Loving Solutions" ministry to women the Goeders are founding--for women who are recovering from substance abuse.
Thanks to all the women who helped clean our kitchens after a year-long list of activities. They were in dire need of cleaning, and we appreciate all your hard work.
